- Chew well! Take time over meals
- Drink at least eight 8oz glasses of water daily
- Take drinks at room temperature
- Do not drink with meals
- Eat less processed and more whole food
- Eat smaller portions of high quality food
- Rotate your foods so that you have a varied diet
- Eat food that is in season and locally grown
- Eat organically grown food whenever possible
- Avoid fizzy drinks and squash
- Minimise the use of tea and coffee
- Avoid chewing gum
- Be relaxed whilst eating – enjoy meals
